Manik Chhabra, MD, is a staff physician at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia and serves as a health policy analyst on the faculty of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

His research interests include improving access to high quality primary care in underserved communities, housing policy as it pertains to the health of homeless individuals, and transitions of care from hospital to home for medically complex patients

He earned his undergraduate degree in biomechanical engineering from Stanford University and his medical degree at the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency training at the Yale Internal Medicine-Primary Care Program, where he served as Chief Resident for Internal Medicine-Primary Care. He was a Clinical Scholar in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania in the 2015-2018 cohort.
