VISN4 CHERP Pilot Projects FY18
One of the four new VISN4 CHERP Pilots will be led by Kevin Ahmaad Jenkins, PhD, with Co-Investigator Judith Long, MD at CHERP's Philadelphia site. This year-long study will focus on "An examination of psychosocial stress, race, and racism remains relatively unexplored within chronic kidney disease population."

Veterans’ Experiences of Participation in an Opioid Use Review Clinic |
Four pilot research projects submitted by VISN 4 investigators have been recommended for funding from the Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP), a VA HSR&D Center of Innovation. These one-year projects focus on improving equity and/or quality in health and health care among Veterans. Awards are anticipated to begin in FY18, contingent upon availability of funding from VISN4.
