CHERP seeks to fund pilot projects that support our mission to advance the quality and equity of health and health care for Veterans through rigorous health services research, collaborations, and partnerships with operations and policy stakeholders. 

VISN4 Competitive Career Development Funding

The VA Healthcare Network – VISN 4 invites you to apply for grant support from the Competitive Career Development Fund (CCDF) for FY 2020. The CCDF was established in FY 1998 (originally named as competitive pilot project fund or CPPF) to provide support for physicians, doctoral-level (Ph.D.) clinicians as well as other clinicians and non-clinician research scientists who are developing or continuing research in the VISN 4. The goals of the CCDF is to provide support for early career development, of VA investigators who can apply successfully for competitive, external, peer-reviewed grant support at a later date and to provide support for established investigators to develop new lines of research and secure new funding.The deadline for the receipt of CCDF applications is Monday, March 18, 2019.

HSR&D Pilot and Merit Reviews - Call for Proposals: Intent-to-Submit

The VA HSR&D Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) assists all CMCVAMC and VAPHS researchers with their HSR&D research proposals. HSR&D requires Intent-to-Submit (ITS) abstracts for every proposal. The VA invites your ITS for HSR&D Pilot and Merit Review research support for the next submission cycle in Spring 2019.
