Caring for Complex Chronic Conditions Research
The Caring for Complex Chronic Conditions Research Group at the University of Pittsburgh is led by Ann-Marie Rosland, MD, MS, CHERP COIN Investigator, VA Pittsburgh Healthsystem Physician, and Associate Professor, General Internal Medicine, University of Pittsburgh.
The group focuses on these core goals:
- improve health care and self-management support for people with diabetes and other chronic conditions
- mobilize the power of patients' social networks to improve health
- develop innovations in care management and coordination for complex patients
- understand the impact of changes in primary care organization and policy
The group is currently recruiting for two postdoctoral fellowships, and the selected scholars will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts across the fields of family and social support, healthcare management, and statistical methodology.
